I think that's from a C4 Corvette 1984-1996

Agreed, that is the C4 emblem on the steering wheel and a corvette turn signal. Both the 3rd and 4th gen camaro's have 3 bolts that mount the the fire wall the above has 2.

Buying a steering column without seeing the car it came from is risky. Any car that was hit in the front could have a partially collapse column. This is part of a safety systems that keeps the steering column from crushing your chest. In most cases junk yards will not sell columns from cars hit in the front but it happens. The only way to tell is to look up the spec and get out a tape measure. If the column is even a little under length that mean an internal shear pin has been broker and the column should be discarded. Like seat belts they can be restored but very few companies have the equipment and not worth it unless replacements are impossible to find.
