Now that I have Your attention. I'm new to this particular forum. From what I have read, there is a host of great info. I have a 94 3.4 auto convertible.Flowmaster cat back, super chip, cold air intake, port and polished intake(done while car was down for intake gasket)
Not a performance car, but fun to drive. Especially along the beach roads here on Long Island. I worked for GM for 22yrs, before changing careers.
Currently restoring a 66 ford f100, but really enjoy doing some mild mods on the Camaro..I have done a few recent changes to the interior. "repadded" the black leather buckets to add better comfort ,relocated the convertible top switch and lighter to add an analog clock. Added 2 USB ports, being We are all charging something while driving. I crafted a door to cover that unexplained area below the radio. I will add some photos as soon as I learn how.
Look forward to posting more as I progress.
Hopefully I will be able to use some of My GM experience to assist in this forum.

I started at GM as a B tech out of college. I did repairs, new and used car preps etc. After a few years I became a service writer/quality control. Then I became service Manager for Buick, then more recent, managed two shops for Saturn, before their demise..It was a hell of a ride! I loved every minute of it..But time to move on!

I did the AS degree in Auto tech and I was a Line tech and a shop forman at few GM dealerships until I hurt my back in 1990. I thought about going the service writer route but I hate people too much.
No rush but don't forget the pics I am wanting to see the door pannels and console.

I have my 94 Camaro On the road about 3 months now. When I bought it, the previous owner said the trans(4L60e) will not shift properly, especially at wot. He said a new trans or a rebuild is in the near future.
One of the reasons He was selling it, along with an unexplained coolant leak(3.4).I asked if He pressure tested the cooling system. No, I keep adding water when needed, but never looked to see where it was coming from.Turns out intake gasket leak,(4hr repair,$50 for gasket and new coolant). Trans was low by 2qts, tightened Return hose from trans cooler, topped off fluid, shifts like a champ, and coolant hasn't lost a drop! Don't assume the worst...His lost,My gain..
