hello all
well where do I start? I am 36, married 11 years,3 kids (9-6-11 month's) My wife and daughter do the horse thing, Raising, showing, riding. That leaves me needing a hobby. When i was 16 bought a 68 camaro 327 4 speed red W/black stripes. drove the wheels off it. about 3 years latter my dad bought a 67 327 4 speed solid black W/red int. nice car. 2 years latter I sold the 68 for 4200.00. dumb move. then I purchased the 67 from my dad( Buddy price). Kept It until 2001 then sold it so my bride could have a pick-up to pull her horses around. Who got the better deal there? 2 year's ago I purchased a 1979 SE trans-am W/403 olds for a project, It is in very good driver condition. Drove it 1 summer and should redo the engine so it sits in the shed. My brother-in law sold a 79 black 350 4 speed car 12 years ago and tracked it down 2 months ago. He asked me what I thought, car needing some TLC. Told him to drive the 3 hour trip and check it out. Well he didnt but I did. Turns out the guy had the 79 & also a 80 both Z-28s. So I got a package deal and took them both. this just took place 2 weeks ago and I havent told my brother-inlaw yet (suprize) they need some minor assembly but are very fixable. down the road I will probably sell the 80. not sure dont really need 3 cars. It could be a slow process free time is hard to come by w/family . I have 2 years auto mech at a vo-tech and worked in a garage during high school for 6 years. still alot I don't know, so I hope U guy's can help if I run into a snag. I now work for my brother-inlaw as a yard supervisor at their trucking company. Gota run kid's are screaming. Later

Too bad about selling the camaro for a truck, I understand making sacerfice for your wife, but selling a 67 camaro for a truck, if you get like that again. I have a 1986 chevy with 454 and 6 inch lift kit. just kidding you, I get to involved with my vehicles to let one go. I am also new to this site, not much mechanical experience, but like driving fast, used to be a sheriff's deputy. Every now and then I would take my camaro out and use as a undercover car. Welcome to the site, hope you get your cars runing quick.
