Default Serious debate over split rear window camaro

Hello,
First I hope that I am doing this right, if not then Im sure a GM will help me get to the correct spot. But anyway.. A friend and I have been trying to get a definitive answer to this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Has a Camaro ever come from the factory with a vertically split rear window? Something roughly along the lines of the Corvette Stingray. Im going with no...

Thanks Again,

Welcome to CF. Come to think of it, we could use an automotive trivia thread.

Its still at a draw for the most part, though Im certain that GM never produced a Camaro with that style rear window... However my friend, after 2 long days of searching Google, did manage to find a custom Camaro where someone had did it themselves. Never said it wasnt possible, just never produced by GM themselves.

I thought all doubt was removed? GM absolutely did not make a split rear window production Camaro. The split window Vette was only in 1963, because too many owners complained about the visual obstruction. GM learned from that design experiment.
