Raising 68 Camaro rear end

Raising 68 Camaro rear end
Hi. I have a 1968 Camaro. I'm looking for suggestions on how to raise rear end 1-2 inches. Multi springs & shocks are new. Car rides about 2 inches lower in back than front. Don't want to cut front coils. I have no rubbing issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If you have a spring shop in your area, you can take in the leafs and have them re-arched. My brother had that done on his 68's springs, he didn't like the "squatty butt" look either.
You could install air shocks instead, as an easier option. Ride might be a little more stiff, if that's important to you, but air shocks would give you more adjustment control over ride height.

Air shocks were designed to raise a trailer laden vehicle and make the headlights aim like they were before trailer was attached.
Also, shocks caught on quickly to raise the rear, but a very rough ride and tears hell out of the shock mounts, especially on older Camaros'.
As 69 suggests, re-arch the springs.
Correct year Buffalo Bob!
