HI I NEED HELP I HAVE A 89 CAMARO AND I JUST GOT A DISC BRAKE POSI REAR END OUT OF A 95 Z28 AND I NEED TO NO WHAT ALL I WOULD HAVE TO DO TO PUT IT IN MY CAMARO WELL ANY ADVISE WOULD BE HELPFULL THANKS

 

just my opinion ... you are going to way too much trouble to upgrade your rearend. why don't you just swap out the carrier and gears. they are basically the same rearend. with a little luck you might not even have to change pinion depth or carrier spacers. the key is to put everything back exactly like it came out. at the most you might have to adjust the backlash a little. if you need more help swapping out the gears and carrier hollar. Sick

 

THANKS YEA THAT WOULD BE EASIER I DIDNT NO IF THEY WERE THE SAME SIZE OR NOT BUT WILL THE DISC BRAKE SET UP GO ON THE STOCK REAREND OR WHAT WILL I HAVE TO DO WELL THANKS AGAIN. LATER
