Default One more newbie...

Hey all, just got myself a '78 Camaro, completely base, completely stock, and completely rusty. I paid $350 for it, which includes a straight 6 in need of a head gasket. Which it won't get. I'm planning a super-tight-budget build on it, it will be a small block and it will be at least 350ci. I've been putting pieces together for it but decided I could use a bit more Chevy know-how. I'm experienced mainly with Pontiacs, I'm no stranger to Chev but I haven't done any builds with Chev. I've got an 81 Firebird Formula that was my first car, I'm planning to restore it and I have an 80 Firebird, which is going to get a 700+hp iron-headed nitrous'd 4-bolt Pontiac 455. It's also getting a cut and gut with plenty of fiberglass. That project is moving very slow, unfortunately, so I decided to pick this Camaro up for a cheap toy in the meantime.
