Welcome to the site Tim.
One question for you, I would like to R&D a set of Brodix heads for my 396.
Could you please send me a free sample of your Race-Rite Oval port aluminum heads with 270cc intake and 115cc chamber........LOL
Thank you....

I don't want to clog up your newbie post, but I'll be pm'ing you about those heads. I'm building a new motor for the racecar and am head shopping, I'll be sending my current Trickflow 235cc heads down the road for something better

The BR3 head is based off the LS7 architecture, and is compatible with LS3 manifolds. This allows for larger valves, much better ports, and higher overall valve lift (with LS7 rockers).
Stock LS3 and LS7 intake ports choke above 0.600" lift @ 28" water. This means that the air in the port becomes turbulent, which hurts volumetric efficiency and fuel flow - at ALL rpm.
The CNC ported BR3 heads will out flow ported LS3 heads, along with excellent wet flow. This improves not only power, but engine smoothness, throttle response, and fuel economy. The improvement comes because GM developed the LS3 heads on a flow bench. The BR3 heads were developed on a strong running engine.
