Newbie with '68
Just came across this forum and looks pretty cool. I am currently working on fixing up a 1968, 4 speed, 327 (210hp), convertible. My grandfather bought it for my Mom for her graduation in 1968 and it has since become a family heirloom. I learned to drive on that car and drove it as my main car for about 6 months when I got my license many years ago. It has not been operating for the last 3 years and just brought it in to get it up and running again. Can't wait to get in it once again for old times' sake. Needs some TLC and will become a nice project to fully restore over the years.
I have always had a serious love for cars and currently work for Ferrari North America in Jersey. After this initial work is done to get the car running for the summer I plan on taking over the remaining jobs needed for restoration so I am hoping to learn a lot in here and get some advice when needed.
Glad to be a part of this community.

Welcome man, that is one heck of a story, don't hear to many stories like that anymore where the car has been in the family it's whole life. I wish you good luck on this. Check out the 1st gen section, those guys and girls in there will help you out.

Thanks
Thanks for the warm welcome. Will certainly get some pics up soon. Trying to find the originals from the day my grandfather gave it to my mom in '68 to add to it along with the somewhat depressing pictures of its current condition (its not that bad but still wish I could have seen it when it was brand new). Looking forward to getting more involved here.
