Greetings. Just found this forum and joined. Looks like it's pretty cool.
Anyway, I just picked up a '77 and it's pretty nasty. I did a couple of VW Beetles, ground-up resto's, and decided it was time to try a nice old piece of Detroit Iron. Looks like quite a job! Look forward to talking with all you guys (and Girls!?) and getting a little help along the way. I have worked on cars all my life, and do it for a living-I'm a engineering tech for GM-but have only started restoring cars about 4 years ago. Having a Blast! Will try to post a photo of my project.
Thanks. Jeff

Welcome to the forums!
The Force... err, potential, is strong with that one.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
Good choice with a second-gen.

Welcome. I have done some air cooled work as well, you will find the transition easy enough.
