Newbie

New to this forum.
I had a '69 Camaro in high school whichI loved and several Camaros since then but have been away from the Pony Cars for awhile restoring a '65 Corvette and building a Cobra replica in my garage from the ground up over the past few years. I'm looking for my next project car and would love to re-create my ride from high school and figured this would be a good first step.Attached are pics of the Vette and the Snake as my"Car Guy" credentials.

RE: Newbie

The Cobra is a Factory 5 Replica that usesthe single donor car concept, which is what sold me on Factory 5 in the first place. You buy the F5 Kit and a 1987-93 Mustang donor and you have everything you need to build the car. 4 inch tubular racing frame with running gear from the Mustang. Since I had the 5.0 from the Mustang donor already, I used the 5.0 EFI.
Bumped the HP up in the re-build and dropped it in. 290HP in a 2,100 pound short wheel base car is scarey fast.
