Finally bought my first gen 1 camaro!
Well....new here. Hi!
Figured i would make an account here and start reading and posting about my first camaro.....its a 1969 fixer upper i finally convinced my dad to sell me. Been sitting there for 20 years and he never did a darn thing to it....always saying "dont want to sell it......one day i am going to fix it up"
BS! Lol
So this week i told him "dad, its been sitting there for 20 darn years, if you have not done anything to it by now, your NEVER going to do anything."
20 years ago it ran and had little rust....now it does not run and has lots of rust. Go figure right?
So anyway he bought it, and let it sit under a carport for 15 years and the last five it sat out in the field.
Well he sold it to me for 4k which is still a killer deal...just picked it up tonight.
!!
The money pit has just opened!

looks like alot of work,i seen a few mustang cars sit like that pretty much outside ,most turn outn to have rusted frames with that much time ,but hope its fixable ,one thing for sure you can buy all the aftermarket parts ,but you will be rebuilding that from the ground up,welcome to the forum
