Default New from Washington

Hello I am Ryan and just moved to Washington for a new job. I have only been here a week and after finally selling my Ford Ranger I picked up the car I have wanted since I was 16 years old, a Camaro. The model I got was the 1982 Camaro Berlinetta v6 and it looks real pretty but needs some TLC. I have worked on cars before, but would not call myself a mechanic... at all. I am looking forward to meeting new members and learning more about this new car! My goal is to little by little restore this Camaro and love it for a long time.

Hey man, have fun with the new camaro. My suggestion would be to start a project thread in the appropriate section. Throw up some pictures, a little bit of info for yourself and start that way. It has worked for me getting lots of answers for my car. Have fun with it. My advice would be, do one project at a time on the car. If you try to do everything at once it overwhelms you and you run out of motivation and sometimes money.

Solid advice, thank you! Right now I am just trying to get it to turn back on after changing the spark plugs lol I want to make sure it is running perfect before doing anything else. I am excited either way, but it is going to take lots of time and I am sure money to get the car where I picture it. I will start a project thread, and see if the forum will let me post pictures. When I added my car to my "garage" it said I don't have privileges to post pictures just yet.
