Hey everybody. Great forums! I just recently bought an '89 Camaro. Pretty standard 2.8 no biggie; tho, I did manage to get it for a mere $1000 in great running condition. Lookin' forward to being a part of the community.

Yea, I'm not too sure. Im pretty much new to the scene; but, I thought the majority was 2.8L.

2.8, wow, is that the 4 banger? i know they put one in the 3rd gens, but i dont remember what size it was. But anyway, welcome to the forums

I think it's a 3.1...they put the 2.8's in the Berlinetta's...just from what i understand

the 2.8 was in the Camaro from 1982 till 1989, 1990 was when the 3.1 came in
