Apparently I can only post this in small bits so bare with me.
Intially I had typed out a long intro and his "OK." For some reason it didn't go through and I have to type another.

I'm from Kansas, and I currently drive a 2000 Camaro Conv't. It's an automatic V6.I'm very new into all this car business, I don't know much of anything when it comes to cars.

And because of that, I've joined this forum. This forum that is causing me so much trouble posting...If I seem to post too much it won't go through and it resets everything I've typed. I'd liek to learn as much as I can, as fast as I can about cars in general and my Camaro. I went from driving a '77 AMC Hornet, to a Ford Windstar, so my Camaro is a BIG upgrade from my soccer mom ride, haha.

It's got a few "beauty marks" as I call them such as: Missing visor on the passenger side, the clip on the console was broken off due to some driver before me leaning on it as they got into the car, and there is a dent on the passenger side bumper/fender due to some fool in my highschool's parking lot.

I absolutely love my car even with its flaws. As of now I only have two problems I can't seem to figure out. 1) My breaks have a TERRIBLE squeak to them when I'm breaking. We replaced all of the break pads, yet the noise persists. Any tips on what could cause that or how to fix that would be appreciated.

2) When I accelerate the engine makes a nasaly/airy sound. A friend of mine said it could possibly be that the air hose is loose, but it's almost 4 AM, so I'll be checking that in the morning, haha. Any other reasons what could make that sound? I've checked the oil and everything incase that would have anything to do with the dry sound, but the oil is good, still have about 500 miles to an oil change.

Any and all help is appreciated. And if anyone could help me out by telling me some places to find some information easily understood by a car newbie, that'd be great too. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the help. I look forward to learning whatever you guys have to teach me, haha.-Sorry for the broken post, haha.
