Hi All,
My name is Dan.
First let me say it looks like you have a nice board here, with lots of participation.
I've joined to help a friend. He's got a 69 Camaro that he's owned for 24 years, and because of hard times, he's asked me to take the car, clean it up and sell it. I'm a Pontiac guy, and frequent a similar board that is dedicated to Pontiac's. My friends car started life as a 6cyl-3 speed car. He's had various engines in it over the years. Now it has a 350-4 speed. The unibody looks good from what I've seen so far. So I'll be picking your brains on code numbers and such, to learn what he has. Then ultimately putting the car up for sale.
Cheers,
Dan

Where is the car?
Any pics?
How much does he want for it the way it is now?
What other Pontiac Forums are you on, I'm on a couple also?
The Camaros are all most the same as Firebirds, in as much as the same problem areas.
You can check outthese sites to learn a lot about the Camaro and what all the numbers mean

Welcome to the forums. Even when you are done with this project, stick around and enjoy our little site.
Just from what you have said about the car in stock for (V-6/3 speed) I would say its a simple car. Not a Z/28 or SS/RS, but nice cars just the same. You will easily get 6k for it, especially if it runs and if it doesnt need much work.
