Default New here, and already asking for help to find my old Camaro

Long time Camaro lover, first time poster here.

I sold a 91Z when I was living near Columbus, OH to someone from MI around 2004. Had the original 350 block w/ TPIS everything, TH350 Trans, etc. Ran 12's on motor, 11s on the juice. Red int and ext w/ a nice big dent in the front right fender. Was a great car and sold due to time, money and a newborn.

Looking to reconnenct w/ the owner of that car and at a minimum find out what happened to the car.... w/ any luck, buy it back.

Anyone? Anyone?

John Schnatter.

Do you have the VIN number? With that in hand it might be a bit easier to find.

Welcome to the forum, good luck with that challenge. Got any pics of the car, that could help also.

No, I don't have the VIN, but guess I could go down to the title office and ask if I'm allowed to see my old records???

I have some pics and will scan them and post them eventually. I don't even think I have digital photos of that car...sheesh.

Good luck with your search. With all the newer privacy laws it can be tuff to track down a car even with the vin. That assumes it is still a registered car. 6 years is a long time. It could have been wrecked or parted out or in storage.

If you had the Vin Car fax would tell you if it got in any wrecks.

Gorn makes some good points, if you can get the VIN for the car you may have a chance, Carfax will charge you a little something to get any real info, but you could tell if it is still on the road, or at least the last time it was on the road. Can you dig up any old registration slips or dealership work orders for the car, there is a lot of paper work that could potentially have a Vin on it.
