Default New guy from Sweden says hi

Hi. My name is Mikael and Iīm 20 years old and live in the north half of Sweden. I have always liked cars. I have been influensed by my dad and my mothers brothers as they all have or have had american cars. Right now only my dad and one of my uncelīs have american cars, my dad has 5 cadillacīs and my uncel have a 700hp -65 impala.

I have a 3 year industrial education. I like welding and sheat metal work best. I like the feeling of making something with hands as seeing it take shape.

Now wath am I doing on this forum? Well, Iīm soon a Camaro owner. On friday evening me and my dad get on a night train and head over 100 miles south to buy a -98 Camaro. It will need some work to get in the contidion I want it to have, but the price is right so I donīt mind.

Hereīs a pic of the car: (the sellers pic)

If there is something that you want to know just ask

//Mikael

Thanks for the welcome

The purches went good. The Car runns great and I already love it The trip took us about 30 hours. We got about 30 minutes of sleep on the train down before a couple of realy fun guys got on the train and had the seats next to us. But the trip went without problems even if we were realy tired the last part.

Here is some pics of the car

My Camaro and my dadīs Cadillac CTS under the carport and my mothers mitsubishi will have to stand out in the rain

Everything works. The car have now 61828 on it

Nope, itīs a 3,8 V6. But itīs sold here in eurupe so there is some diferences to the american sold cars. For exampel there is 2 rear foglights in the rear and the cutout for the licensplate is mutch longer to fit the euro plates. Luckely this car have been granted to have the smal licensplates (you need to fill in an aplication and then hope it till be alowed.)

The speedos always go this high i europe, dont know why. Only place you can drave that fast is on serten parts of the german autobahn.
