Default NEW guy needs suggestion!

hey guys, names matt. im a huge camaro fan, and hope to buy one here in the future. i am big into dirt racing (1/2 mile oval/pure stocks) and chevys in general. love the camaro looks and motors and are trying to pick up a project car to get a start on. my question is, with about 5000 to spend on a camaro, which would you suggest? i like the older 3rd gen boxy style ones, good amount of room and no computer crap. but the newer 4th gens look great and are pretty quick.
looking for a nice powerful car i can smolder the tires off of anytime i want and also drive dd...

Welcome to the forums! Not a big fan of the 3rd gens, but I am fond of the 4th gens. Which is what I would suggest. Either way, I guess you really can't go wrong.

ha yea i love, love those 4th gens, but i just turned 18 and i dont really have the funds for the 4th gens... i have been working on my other project (oh god here it comes, please dont hate me)

which is my honda crx. its a great little car and im working on getting it to make some nice numbers. my friend, on 280whp is running an 11.9 at the track.. im shooting for 330whp... not a huge honda guy but the parts are there, and theyre cheap. iam though, a diehard corvette/camaro and chevelle fan...

found this, lemme know what you think! thanks
