Default New guy here restoring a 68 SS

I have been lurking around and reading alot of good information on this site. So I decided to stop in and say hi and get more involved. I started restoring my 68 SS about 6 months ago so far I have had the body work/paint complete and will move on to my suspension and drive train. Looking forward to the help on camaroforums. So hi all.

I would love to start a build thread but the problem is i'm working in Afghansitan and only work on my car when I am on leave. There would be atleast 6 month gaps on the thread. I tried to post the before and now pictures below. Keep in mind I am not a mechanic or a body man, just have alot of love and passion for classics. I reassembled the front end, emblems and all exterior pieces. I restored all the original trim, re-upholstered the seats and the complete interior Thank you for the welcomes.

Nice car, that was quite a resurrection. Just curious, why do you have a 69 rear spoiler on it?

That is a good eye, when I bought the car the guy through a spoiler in and I was in Afghanistan when the spoiler was painted and put on the car. I have a new spoiler that is about to head back to the body shop. This is actually my first build and has been a heck of a ride.
