Default New guy here

Hey im new here but have been checking out the website for a little bit, im looking for a camaro as my first car and been trying to get a 1st gen or 2nd gen. I know about the pricing of the 1st's and they are not cheap but ive kept my eyes peeled for old ones sitting in yards and i found a '68 just sitting in the weeds and i went and asked the man for a price he said he just wants to get rid of it. So im going to guess maybe cheap. And i know restos arent cheap either but ive been working for quite some time and im not planning on a huge project just enough to get it more than running and looking good. On my last note id just like for everyone to know that i do have respect for the camaro and all chevys alike, and im not some punk who wants there daddy (not to offend anyone, my dad will most likely be helping pay for my car) to buy the entire car and have it get banged up. I'll most likely be asking tons of questions and such, Thanks

Damian

Welcome, good luck on finding the car your looking for. Just know, that restoring a 1st or 2nd gen car or any car for that matter takes time and money, lots of both, and you will never get out of it what you put in it.. But the feeling of having it and doing it is great. Gettin' there is a lot of frustration, anger, and joy...............
