Default New guy to Camaro and to Forum. - NW Arkansas

Hello, Im new to the car and to the forum. I never wanted a Camaro becouse... everyone has one. For past 3 years I have been buying Porsche 944's and 928's. Very recently I sold my 1988 Porsche 944 to buy a 1986 928S. After selling the 944, I re-contacted the owner of the 928S to tell him I was on the way. He told me he had sold it. WHAT!!??
So I jumped on CL and found a $1900 1995 Camaro with 5 speed and a 3.4L motor. I decided to purchase at $1000 and found that I am more than impressed with the car, despite the little motor. Origionally, I was buying the car until I found another Porsche. Hopefully in Feb after taxes come out, and sell the Camaro but..... I may actually keep this car. Anyway, I'll be needing a few used parts as well as suggestions, advise and whateverelse. I hope to find the valuble friends and info as I have found on my Porsche Forums. Merry Christmas!

Welcome to CF. Sorry to here about your luck. 928's are huge money pits. You were probably better off. The 944 imo was a better all around car. Had one in 84 and then a turbo in 86. Hope your camero serves you well and you get everything you need here. Oh, and Merry Christmas by the way.

Oh very familure with the 928's. They truly are a money pit.
Like they say.. "The most expensive car you will ever own, is a cheap Porsche".
I'll get another 928S come spring but for now the Camaro is certainly doing me well.

Nice looking purchase.

I too was never partial to Camaros until I got into the cockpit of mine for the test drive and now cannot part with it.

I have been a rice burner driver with 240, 260, 280Z's CRX's.
