New guy.
I am thinking about buying this 1970 Camaro RS. I can already see that the car is way too low. Salesman told me it even rubs during U turns. How much would it cost to have it raised just a little below stock? What do think is a fair price for the car? I know that the engine is not stock and the only apparent mods are the car being lowred and having headers...

Hey man, nice camaro you're looking at. It depends how they lowered it as to how much it would cost to raise it back up. It it's just springs/coil overs in the front then it wouldn't be much, but if it's spindles, then that would be more. The back may be blocked, or could have custom springs/cut springs. Would need more info on it to tell for sure.

Before I lifted it I'd see if the fenderwells could move a little.
If you figure you do need to lift it a bit, search a junkyard for an old Nova or Skylark and get the front springs out of it. Swap those first, then see if you can get the rears and swap those out. People tended not to mess with the Nova-based platform, so you have a better chance of getting unmolested stock parts.
Yes, first and second gen parts do crossover. I'm running 78 WS-6 rear springs, and 69 Firebird front control arms on my 69.
