whats up guys, im 18 and love cars...my first was a 76 corvette stingray, sold that and bought a 94 Z28 a week later, kept that for a long time....like a year and a half, then the miles got to high for the liking (110k) sold it , bought a 02 durango and it was draining me with the gas and insurance was like 5200 a year...so i sold that and decided id much rather be driving what i have now a silver 99 SS Camaro with 6k miles on it and have to watch my money then a durango...im here to check out what people do to their rides and how i can make mine sweeter. i have no one to compete with, the town i live in is barley on the map and we dont even have our own school. so i have nobody to hang with that has a camaro, i am proudly the only one in town :- D

How exciting! I live in a smaller area (we do have our own school) lol. I have only seen one other SS and it was 30 miles north of here! I have see a few Z28's and of course some 6 cyl.However, there are TONS of (newer) Corvettes, and Mustangs. oh well. Its cool, there are tons of people that check out my ride and are pretty impressed. I like to drive it like I stole it! I was going to continue driving my Samurai around cuz my car is very difficult to keep clean(although washing it is our "special" time! haha), and to keep the mileage down, but I felt horrible about locking my car up all day alone. SO.......I will drive it until the wheels fall off! have fun.

 

ya i have a friend who has a 2000 mustang that looks pretty sweet, its only a v6 but he has def made it look sweet (not ricy but good) 18x9 chrome crager rims, tinted windows, true dual exhaust, cold air intake, smoked head lights, diff tail lights, its sweet but not a v8 lol. i think i just today talked my other friend into gettin a trans am WS6...i dont want him getting the same as me lol ...but that will be sweet i hope he does. but ya i think since i just got mine, ill drive it as much as i want this year till i put it away in like nov...but when i get it out in the spring i think im gunna get a cavy, so i dont have to drive mine in the rain and stuff...and to keep the miles down, and if i dont drive it that much...i will still appriciate it and it wont get to be just anyother car to me ya kno? lol i want it to stay nice and keep the smile on my face when i get in it every time lol....cya

I know what you mean about keeping the miles off of them.

Mine is an 02' .... just turned over 25k on it. Since I have owned mine it has stayed in the garage and it has never been snowed on, nor rained on since I have owned it. It simply stays in the garage and I take it out only on pretty days , mostly during the weekends , but not that often.

Your speak the truth when you say " and if i dont drive it that much...i will still appriciate it and it wont get to be just anyother car to me ya kno?"

Because by doing that , it does keep a smile on your face everytime you see it.
