New to the forum just bought my first camaro!!!
Hey all, I am new to this forum. I just bought my first Camaro, a black 1969 Chevy Camaro with a 350 in it. I found it sitting on a small car lot here in South GA about a month ago right after I got back from Iraq. It needs a little work but she runs really strong and can be driven. I had to rebuild the tranny (a TH 350) which is in work right now. Can't wait to get it put back in so I can have some fun with it.
I got it for $12,500, which isn't cheap but with the price first gens are going right now and the condition of my Camaro I got a really good deal.
Well look forward to conversing and hanging out here on this forum! I know it says 327 on the side, that will be changed. The guy I bought it from didn't know much about the car and thought it was a 327 but found out after matching the block # it is a 350.

The "Bemiss" Camaro?
I saw that car several times driving up and down Bemiss. The car definitely drew a lot of attention as there were always people looking it over. Then, one day...poof!...it was gone. I guess that was the day that you bought it. I'm in "search mode" right now looking for a '68. Love at first sight with the '68, though I've owned a '69 SS, '72 RS, '77 Z28, and an '84 Z28. With access to the hobby shop (I think that's what it is called), you definitely have the resources to do whatever you need.
