Default New from Dallas, Tx! 2nd Gen

Hello I'm Mark. Always been a Camaro fanatic, and now I finally own one!! This is practically a dream come true to me, so you have to forgive my enthusiasm lol! This is just my 2nd car, but it couldn't be any better. She might need some work done on her, but she's still simply amazing. She has a 305 out of a 1986 Camaro, and has a Turbo Hydramatic 350 Transmission. Sitting on the Original Chevy Rally Tires. Just cranked the motor up the other day. She hadn't been turned on in over 2 years, but the motor cranked right up without any hesitation! Well thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my post! Highly appreciated, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of good times on this site alone.

Rust is really bad on the inside, but only because the weatherstrips were gone over the window. Body though it's not that bad. Just a couple spots here and there, and you really gotta look for it to find it, so it doesn't stand out so much. and yea it's a later year z hood. gonna modify it, so that'll actually act as a ram air hood.

Nooo not really. Lucky for me I suppose. Rain here isn't such a big deal. Cause well we hardly get any, but when it does rain it pours....and pours...and pours lol. But the car is in fairly good condition. I just need to replace a thing here and there, but I'm really trying to get this car in tip top shape by February.

yeah, we have the salt water come in off the ocean, not good lol and we get hurricanes all the time, not bad ones, but at the boardwalk where i work, well lets say the entire beach and parkinglot on the other side of the boardwalk was under about 2ft of water lol, and i plan to put this in show-room quality within 3 years.

Nice. I'm gonna have to be driving mine around too, since I have no other means of transportation. My Turbo Eclipse blew a piston not too long before I got the car.

yeah i crashed my suburban, it was still driveable, just the axel was bent, and the local junkyard wanted 800 for a new rear axel lol, so i said f*ck it and cash for clunkered that for my moms new car, and i got my camaro, and my parents are helping pay for some repairs since i got my mom a new car lol, i would say they are really fun daily drivers, but sometimes not so much lol, i got a 350 with a 4spd in it so gas is okay, not bad compaired to my Chevy Suburban though

I plan on swapping out the tranny sometime down the road. Standard is a lot more fun to drive than automatic lol. yea my parents helped me out with getting the car, so fixing it is entirely up to me. I told my mom she can keep the eclipse if she gets the parts, and I'll fix it for her. I need a bigger motor too. that 305 isn't gonna cut it for me! an uncle of mine is selling a 396, that he'll sell to me for 500. all it needs is a crankshaft and is bored out 60 over
