Default New to CF from Georgia

Hey guys just wanted to say hello, I just bought my 2nd - 2nd Gen car and wanted to see some ideas for it. I just aquired a 5.7 vortec and 4L80 combo with the computer and wiring harness and all the workings... I have a good friend with some knowledge of this type of swap as he is just finishing up his 72 chevy pickup 5.3 vortec swap.

Anyways just wanted to say nice info here and I look forward to contibuting/learning at CF!!

Welcome to the forum, not a bad swap for the 2nd gen. I've seen a few with a similar swap done. You should do a build thread in the 2nd gen tech section for this, would help some others I'm sure.

thanks for the welcome guys, I think I will document the swap and load it on the 2nd gen tech section(good idea greenarrow)

I will be getting started on it just after the holidays as long as my work schedule permits.

If anyone can give a few links to similar builds i would appreciate it.
