Talking New to CF

Hey all,
Name is Jason, I go by my nick name "Ren". Originally from San Diego California. Currently Active Army and stationed up in FT. Lewis, WA with my wife and 2 year old son. I will be the proud owner of a 72 Camaro on Tuesday. Been around Chevys my hole life, and my best friend has 5 Camaros. I have owned 15 diff cars in a span of 10 years. Everyting from a 85 Jetta, to a 91 EG6 Civic Si, from a 68 Nova. This is my first Camaro, and will be my pride and joy for life, hopefully my Sons one day. I have been searching for this car for 10 years, and got very lucky finding it. Its a 72, with a 350, turbo 350 Trans. Havnt had much time to dig around the hood to get all specs, only time to make sure they all function. I will be picking it up on Tuesday and will post pics. I plan to be very active on these forms, Both as a student, consumer, and hope to help others like me. Thanks for your time, see you in the threads!

congrats on your car ren, even I never owned a camaro until now, so it feels just amaaaaazing to own one. Mine is an '81 camaro with a 350 under the hood. To be honest ren, these are not cars...these are MACHINES pure classic american machines

Yea, like I said, I have been around them for a really long time. Worked on them, tore em apart, raced em. Most my experience comes from mostly 3rd and 4th gens. But when it comes to the 350 I had one in my 68 Nova, so not to unfamiliar. So stoked though to FINALLY! be the owner of one, and my favorite Generation! OMG I need to pick it up already! why must this week go so slow. =(
