New from Alabama
Thought I would spend a few minutes to say Hello, and post out some specs on my rides.
My current project is a 1978 Camaro I just brought back from Georgia last Saturday. 80K actual miles and factory paint that still looks great. This car has sat in a barn for the last 8 years according to its last owner. I am planning a 400 small block swap with built turbo 350 tranny before this spring so I can see how it does at the local Dragstrip and on the highway.
I also have a 1985 Camaro that I plan to put the current 350 engine into later on that I am going to pull out of the 78 Camaro. Right now the 85 is on the back burner though, cause I really like the 2nd Gen's much better for what I plan to do.
My kids are all about grown now, so its time for Dad to get back out the wrenches and start playing again. Too many Ricers out there that think they have fast cars. Its time to take them back to school, cause there is no substitute for Cubic Inches when it comes to HorsePower.
