welcome!! heres a tip ive heard from other f-body owners in my area.its easier to disconnect the front subframe, lift the body up and drag the whole front suspension out than trying to lift the motor out of the engine bay..i guess since the motor sits back so far.. just what ive heard..

Out the bottom is easier than out of the top, and is also the factory recommended way. Use the cherry picker to lift the body instead of the engine.

This is true, but i was afraid it would fall on me, i dont have a concrete floor that would support the blocks + jackstands securely. You have to be careful lifting the body ! My neighbor had a son 24yrs old who was under his car when the floor jack leaked down on him ( no jackstands)( in a hurry ), he didnt survive. Be carefull !!
