Seems like its going to be a part you find at a junk yard or if you can find someone parting out a car. Convertible only parts where not easy to find 15 years ago. I can not imagine it has gotten easier.

Best wishes on finding that part, for a 28 year old Z28 'vert.
If you have a good one on the other side, this would be a nice project for 3D printing. Your good part gets scanned into the computer, and then (easily) converted into a mirror image file. Save both files to a flash memory card. Print out the part in Nylon, paint as needed, and you should be golden. For my job, I had the 3D data file going in, for a part fairly similar to what you need. My public library printed out two of these parts, left and right, for my motorcycle. It cost me less than US$ 10.00 out the door. Scanning your part will cost something more, but that's normal. Shop around for prices; some places seem to think they the new royal family, when they do 3D printing.
Somebody on these Z-28 forums may have the part you need, on their car now. They may be willing to have the part scanned for you, and simply email the 3D printer file to you. We all get by with a little help from our friends. Ask around.

If you need the long center section, you may be able to have it done in smaller sections, to fit the 3D printer tray.

I thought you needed just a corner piece. If it's all one long strip, you may be able to apply a flexible wide car-body side moulding (many widths are available) or even an interior baseboard moulding. Many choices, there. Click on IMAGES at the top of the Search page. You may need a hair dryer to form the curves you need.
A fiberglass shop would need a good one, to make the mold they will need. It would be expensive . . .

I have to wonder how many of those parts go to the crusher every day. It does not seem like it would be a part that was hard to find at any larger yard or even a you pull it for a few dollars.
