Default my ride

Hello all, I'm new to the forum.
This is my second Camaro but my Pop had a few when I was a kid. I picked this one up at an auction last fall. Black on Black on Black withpoorly doneZ stripes and 81k miles. It's got the LT1 with a 6 speed. As you can see in the pic, it's been lowered and aftermarket Z-06 rims have been added. Actually,a lot of aftermarket stuff is already in place but there's lots of "young guy damage" to go with it. I'm still crawling throughthe cardeciding what to keep and what to replace. Now I guess I need to go to the 4th gen forum and ask some questions!

Default RE: my ride

It came with a flowmaster exhaust, koni shocks w/coilover, oversized vented discs, K&N air cleaner (which is coming out after what I've read here today), Hurst shifter, it had aftermarket wires and dist but the NYS inspection computer didn't like 'em so I changed them back to stock, new water pump (whileshe was apart for the wires andsince the distwas already 86, why not), LOTS of exhaust studs[:@], OEM true posi rear end rebuild (had an aftermarket limited slip to posi conversion in it...it didn't last), and I put some G-force drag radials on the back. There was also thestandard stuff you have to replace on "pre-owned" Camaros: the battery tray was broke, one winshield wiper arm was bent, there was noinner boot on the shifter, the trunk lid refused to stay up, the heat/defrost ducting was alljerked around, the mirrors didn't match, the back seats were in ****-eyed, the remotesthat came with it were for a '93 and would only lock the car, nothing else,so I had to get new ones and program them, etc...Mostly just weekend tinkering, fun/easy stuff but nothin's cheap. I would like to find a cold air set up for it and a dude named Pete gave me a lead in the SS/Z28 forum. I'm also considering an AS&M throttle body a bit larger...hell, who'm I kidding...I want the big one.
