Default My dad bought a Camaro a few months ago...

He bought it back around the end of September. It's more or less a more powerful upgrade from his 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, which got wrecked. My dad is on the stubborn side when it comes to these car forum things. It's a 2011 2SS with the RS package, which he bought slightly used (about 2200 miles). The previous owner installed a GPS system, complete with a Kenwood backup cam, and a straight pipe exhaust.

My dad's own personal upgrades consist of a K&N CAI, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust kit, flashpaq tune, splashgaurds, Foose legend wheels, Continental tires, set of brake rotors (not on yet, can't figure out how to take the Brembo brake calipers off), repurposed his G8 Weathertech mats for the Camaro, and is waiting on covers for the "airbag warning" on the visors and a pair of "LS3 426 HP" emblems.

I wish. He's very sensitive (and that's saying it politely) about who touches his cars. Besides, I can't drive stick (yet), and I had a little... incident with his G8 while I was learning to drive. So, no V8s for a while. Maybe someday, just not now...

It was part of the kit. I wasn't expecting that when he ordered it. I don't think he did either. But, it does look great.

Oh, and one night my dad noticed when he opened the door (either one), this light comes on around the edge of the plastic trim on the doors. Like when you open the door, and the instrument cluster lights all come on, so do these lights on the doors. Is that factory, or is that a mod that the previous owner had done? I think that it's the latter, but I'm not completely sure.
