This looks like a nice place to hang out. I am 49, been building Camaro's and other muscle since I was 14. I'm a big fan of the 1st and 2nd generations. My father and I drag raced together for 20 years and still wrench in my shop every night after work, he is 83 and still bangin gears if you can believe it. We are just finishing his little 64 SS Nova. We went Old School with it using a 350 LT1 w/dual quad Weind tunnel up through the hood, Car rolls along on a set of original ET Dragmasters. Car is Corvette competition yellow. Hope to have it ready for the fall show curcuit. My Project is a 69 SS RS 350 X-11 code car w/ac. Picked it up for 700.00 on a mechanics lien and drove it home...unbelievable. Last week I picked up a set of 69 disc brake spindles to replace the ones that had been robbed off the car and replaced with drums. Found a 12-bolt and an M-21 for it that are in great shape. This week I should have the 406 done, but it will sit till the body is finished in the spring. I am having to replace almost every panel. Someone cut a sun roof into it, so I had to buy a roof panel from Greenwood along with full rear quarters and the rear panel as well as a trunk pan. Is it worth it???The first time I hit the key and she starts up...Oh ya.
