Introducing myself.
Hey All. I look forward to spending some time with everyone talking "Camaro". My second car was a 1967 base Camaro, six cylinder, three on the tree. (My first car was a 1960 Buick LeSabre station wagon, what a GREAT car). My Camaro didn't stay a six/three very long as I replaced them with a 327 and a Muncie 4-speed from non-other than Jerry MacNeish. Jerry and I played in a band together for several years. My other experience with the 1st gen Camaro was with a 1968 SS396 built by Luby Chevrolet in Baltimore that raced in the SS/EA brackets under the name "Boss Lady". (see attached photo) My dad was the Parts Manager at Luby at that time and I have very fond memories of going to the dealership with my dad and seeing the car go through the various stages to get it ready for the strip. I also went to the track quite often to watch her race. Some weekends my dad drove the car. I would very much like to find that car, if she still exists, but only have photos and memories to go by. Any info anyone can provide that may lead me to where she is or knows of her demise would be very much appreciated.
Sorry for the long first post.

Unfortunately you are probably right. I'm going to keep searching for now. Once I have some money and time, mostly money, I would like to find a 68 that was originally an 8 cylinder car, preferably one that started with a 396, and build a Boss Lady tribute car. I may need to start with a chassis then put the car together piece by piece but that wood be okay.

1800 mile 1993 Z/28
Hi all,
I joined this forum to get some opinions from some true "Camaro guys". Long story short, I wouldn't call myself a die hard Camaro guy I am definitely a die hard Chevy guy. I still have my first car, a 1965 Impala SS that I've had for almost 40 years. I also have a 1966 Chevelle SS drag car and a 1964 turbo Corvair. My question is I have an opportunity to get a 1993 Z/28 6 speed, pearl purple with only 1800 original miles. The car has been garage kept and is in mint condition as it should be with such low miles. My problem is trying to figure out what it's worth. After researching it the best I can come up with is somewhere between 9K and 14K, I look forward to all of your feedback and thoughts.
Thanks Mike
