Default I'm Back!

How's it going? I've been a member on here for a while, but I've never personally owned my own Camaro (my family & I together have previously owned Camaro's as project cars) - until now. I just recently bought a 2000 Camaro V6 (I plan on swapping an LS1 into it). I'm struggling with what initial mods I want to do with the current V6 in it now though, because I'm not just gonna leave it stock until I get the LS1 in it, lol - so can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Yeah do any exterior mods you want but engine wise it's just not worth the money. Especially if your going to do an engine swap. I would start with some suspension upgrades.

welcome back brendon. nice camaro congrats. wouldnt plan to much on switch to ls1. 6 to 8 conversion involves much more than just changing engine.

Thanks man. My headlights are yellowish & fogged, so I got a kit to clean them up. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna swap out the housings. I have no idea where I wanna start, lol.

True - but I want a faster car, lol. Unless I turbo the V6 in it now.

just enjoy the one you have and take care of it. when your ready look for a ls1 camaro and put the base camaro up for sale. save money and time that way. you can get 300hp from a 3.8 and not be to radical. dr one of our contestants for this months ride of the month is getting that from her 3.8.

Okay, I'll think about it. I don't want to end up spending money I don't have - so thanks for the advice.

Welcome back man. Nice car, the headlights could use some resto work.

Thank you! Yeah, I know. That's what my buddies dad said as well. I have some Turtle Wax stuff to restore the headlights with - but it's been raining the past two days, so I haven't had the chance to do so.
