Default Hi, I need help!

Hi, i was looking into buyinga 1996 camaro z28 this is the description of the car

"Car has 96K on it, we rebuilt the motor less than 2K miles ago. It was bored .30 over, with hypereutetic pistons, 1.6 roller rocker arms, gasket matched the heads and intake, has shorty headers, custom tune and a couple of other things. Runs mid to high 13's in the 1/4 mile. White with whit interior, fully loaded with Bose sterero, t-tops ect."

the guy says he has over $8000 in reciepts to prove all the work done to it. He is asking $7000 for it, i was wondering if that seems like a fair price or what? any info would be greatly appreciated.

96 still a lt1 isnt it? if so then yeah the price is reasonable but ive seen them lower, around 5k. but the performance description is pretty much useless until you take alook and drive it. if this is your first car then dont jump on it, just simply keep your ears open. with gas as it is in the next 6 months to a year you will be able to buy anything you want.

You guys would love it in the Las Cruces area, people are selling the early 4th gen LT1s for $2000 or less most of the time. GOLD mine![8D]

viking, is this on a lot or somebodys yard? if its on a lot bring a friend to shoot down the car like example "this is wrong/going out" if any luck the dealer will drop the price.

if its on the yard i noticed that the owner is actually smart about whats been done and whats needs to be done. but test drive the car for atleast 20/30 miles. open it up most the time to see if anything breaks ( most the time if the car is **** something will go ). and if you decide not to buy it and accidently get the cops after it he has to deal with them.

yeah i noticed that the lt1s around here are dropping, seen a sharp z28 for 2750. but im ready to throw on a for sale sign on mine, v8+ 4$ gas + no income = hell.
