Default Hey guys....

Hey guys firsty im not a camaro owner although i wish i was! i figured this would be a good place to get some information i require. Ive just started 3d modelling a camaro for my showreel and the only good blueprints i have are for the "bumblebee" model (below) so ive had to go with them. Heres some questions i have, any feedback would be much appreciated:

1. There was a transformers edition released as a 2010
2. Look at 1
3. Bumblebee in movie was not production model

Hi Adam, welcome to the forum. There are two different versions of bumblebee they used in the two movies. But to start with, the bumblebee in the first movie was a prototype for the 2010 camaro, I'm not aware that anything changed from that version to the version of the 2010 SS that was produced. They did make a transformers special edition for 2010, but as far as I know the only difference from a regular modle was special transformer emblems on it, it did come in the yellow/black colors. The bumblebee in the second movie was a Z28 prototype, different hood/front facia. The Z28 is rumored to come out for the 2011 production but I have not seen anything confirming that as yet. Hope this helps some, you might want to post something up in the 5th gen section you might get more information from those guys.

Garner - Thanks man much appreciated

Greenarrow - Again thanks, the whole prototype thing explains the small changes ive noticed from the movie model to the actual released 2010 model, ive also seen some slight variations in the front bumper on the 2010 model seen here maybe they are different specs:

Yeah, the first version you have is the SS/V8 model, the second is a LT/V6 model. You can always tell the two because of the slit the V8 has in the front facia just under the hood. That's a good catch as I didn't remember that difference until you posted up the pics. I think I remember a difference in the rear facia also, but I can't remember for sure, I'd have to see them.
