Hello from upstate NY.
Hello folks. My name is Brian, from a small town in upstate New York called Walton,in Delaware co. A friend of mine turned me on to this site.Even though I don't have,or ever had a Camaro,I thought I'd check things out, being my 1951 Chevy 2dr BelAir hard top is powered by a Turbo Fire 350/295hp and 4spd from a 1967 SS Camaro.Maybe I might learn a little more about her pedigree from this site. brisbelair

Hi there. Welcome to CF. Good bunch on this site. Stick around and make some friends. If you can get like 3 posts in and you could post some pics. I'm sure many on here would like to see that 51, me included.

Thanks for the welcome. My '51 is in a bizillion pieces right now,as I'm in the middle of the body/interior restoration that I'm doing at a tech.school I'm enrolled in as an adult student(been unemployed since March 09).

There are 3 of us adult students, that are in school all day, among 12 teens in the am.class, and 9 in the pm. class.(1st and 2nd year kids).
My car is the only "BIG PROJECT",but there are a few other "customer" cars that come in and out that the kids can learn on,plus a few guinea pigs (in other words, newer junk) that some of the local salvage yards donated.
Kids nowadays have no intrest in real cars,so I'm pretty much doing everything by myself, with the help of another adult and 1 teen that has some ambition. The way I look at it,if a car doesn't have some UGLY 20"wheels or a stereo system that weights more than they do,the kids won't have a thing to do with it....which suits me just fine.

Too funny. Are you taking pics of your work? If so you should post em up. Others could learn from it. Including myself. Some may even give you some good ideas along the way as well. We're all car guys here.

Brian, don't get discouraged. All you have to do is make three posts in any of the threads that are not classified as off-topic. Then you'll have full member privileges to post up your pics.
