Hello from Oregon
Hello everyone...I'm new around here. My name is Richie, I am 27 and I currently own 2 Camaro's.
My first car was a 1996 Camaro T-Top 3.8L when I was in high school.
In college, I sold that car and bought a 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniv LE T-Top M6 which I still use as my daily driver. That car is pretty stock with the only change being a cat-back Flowmaster exhaust the previous owner put on (which is unfortunate because the car originally came with the SLP exhaust). Sadly, the SLP exhaust is long gone.
While in college, I also purchased my dream car...a 1969 Camaro. It was a standard V8 coupe with a GM Goodwrench 350 and a TH/350 transmission. The car was a decent driver since the day I bought it. Since, I have swapped in a 396 and am planning on turning it into a nice driver SS clone. I started dental school in 2008 and since then the car has sat in my parents garage waiting for me to finish school and then save some money.
I recently graduated and next week I start my career as a dentist. One of the first things I want to do is resume working on this project. I have been waiting a long time to get this car restored...and now it's finally time.
