Default Hello from Kentucky

My name is Ray and among my lifetime supply of projects are 2 Camaros. My most recent aquisition is a 96 RS Convertible...good body but needs motor and interior. It used to be a v6 the but the top half of the motor is missing and I will be transplanting a replacement V6 in this vehicle. When I find the replacement motor I will have lots of questions. I also have a 97 coupe that I will start on after I finish the 96. Hello to everyone and thanks in advance for all of the help.

Welcome
Check out the 4th V6 tech section there are stickies in there that will help, You can use a motors out of some pre 2010 FWD cars but that is long block only, you are going to need a lot of the parts you are missing from the top half of the motor

Welcome, Ray, to the Club. My advice is take copious notes and pictures for future reference.
Make a logbook and/or album. It comes in handy, especially when 'Over 40 Thing' hits.
