hello everyone! another new forum member, and first time camaro owner!

hello, my name is josh, im 17 and picked up my first camaro yesterday. its an 84 with an lt1 350, its got a decent body and paint, just needs a few interior items to be put back in/replaced and needs the t top bar replaced as well as new seals in it. im positive there will be more to do as time goes on and as i progress with the car. i joined the forum with hopes of finding alot of useful information, im not incapable of doing a bit of work on the car but i admit im new to restoring and have alot to learn. I cannot wait to get started on my car, it should be fun and challenging and a good learning experience. i look forward to hearing from all of you, and ill probably get some pictures up of the car soon and begin posting some of my questions!

Hey Josh, welcome to the forum. My brother has an 84 Z28 (Have some pics in my album if you want to look). And also you'll learn a lot from these guys on here.

that is sure a nice car, as well as the 76, i hope i can get mine looking that clean soon! id like to have mine on the road sometime for spring

I am a new member and also just bouhgt my first camaro.I will be 41 this weekend.I think its great that you young guys keep the hobby rollin.Good luck with resto and dont be afraid to try something new on the car it is the only way to truly learn how to do it.You can always redo it if it dont turn out the way you wanted it to.
