I am a 45-year-old second-generation Camaro lover. I grew up in the passenger seat of my father's 1986 IROC Z28 traveling around the country. Because of that beast of a car, all his friends called him IROC. I just bought my first Camaro in the latter half of 2024, because it is the first one I found for sale that ran and I could fit in at 6'3" and 300lbs. It is a 1978 Base model with a 350cu that someone before me has bored out to a 355cu and cammed. It has some body rot that I am working on, but she is in great shape otherwise. I plan to restore her, I am still undecided if I want to restore or restomod, but I am keeping the s.b.c. 355, and upgrading the sound system. The only parts I do not plan to repair myself is the paint job and the windshield, which I will pay professionals to fix.
the night I brought her home the night I brought her home after completing some body filler and attaching one of the hood hinge springs
