Default Hello

I'm Don. Kind of a car nut. 77 Camaro, 77Corvette, 72 Ralley Nova, 01 Dodge 1t Dually, 06 Focus, 06 Wide glide, 03 Focus, and a scooter. Right now I'm a little obsessed with the Camaro. Just put new rear Hotchkis leafs and have ordered control arm stuff from PTFB with coils. Also just picked up a tilt steering wheel on e-bay. The motor is a 327 I built with Dart heads, Herbert roller cam, lifters, springs, Scorpion rockers. Trans is a new Richmond T10 with a Gear Vendors OD, 10Bolt rear with 4.10 posi.
I Drag race the Corvette and was on Pinks All Out at Vegas. It will run 9:90's to 10:20's depending on conditions. The Nova is a restoration I haven't started yet but it is straight and #s matching with 350/350, bucket seats, console, air, front power disc brakes.

OK, I'll put some pictures together. Right now it's on jacks waiting for new body bushings. Then I can set the tranny where it needs to sit and weld up the crossmember mount. And then I can weld in the floor that I had to cut out to allow the tranny with the GearVendors OD to set high enough to get the right drive shaft angle.

Welcome to the forum, a lot of nice rides you have. Need pics of everything. How much was the gearvenders OD and which version/gears did you get? I was thinking about getting one for my car.

The GV is $2600 and good for 1200 horse power. I will have to get some pictures together.

I've always thought about getting one because I think with a 6 speed and then a GV OD with low gearing you might be able to hit 200 mph with a slightly built LT1.

One way to find out. Remember, the more OD, the less HP to the rear wheels.

that's true, but I figure I can get to 150+ right now with 300 HP, should be able to get to the right OD to get me to 200 with 500 HP. That's a long term goal, I want to break 200 MPH on something.
