Greetings from Austria
Hi Guys!
I've found this forum just for camaros, so i had to create an account here.
I'm from austria and i own two camaros, a '75 and a '79.
First of all, please excuse my bad english, I'll get better, i swear
The '75 was my first, and it run when i buyed it. I just wanted to change some poly arm bushings and a new paint job. But under the old paint, a lot of rust appeared (too much for me as an non-mechanical ).
So I decided to buy another camaro for low, because now i have a donor car.
Now I got a cheap '79, but in a pretty good condition (I can say, i was lucky - right time on the right place ).
It has a well running 355 machine (original it was 350, a little bit bored up), hooker headers, purple hornys (lovely sound) and some other modifications/edelbrock items.
The interior is missing, but my donor cars interior is almost complet, so it's just a matter of time till the '79 is set up with the '75 interior.
I ordered some new items at summit-racing the last days, so i have to wait about a month till i can really start to work on my new baby. I hope it will be ready to drive in spring 2010
Sorry for just a few pics, I'm gonna take some more in the next days.
What I want to add is, the scoop is too big. I think, I'll take the normal hood from the donor car and put a litte scoop (like the shaker on the trans am) on it.
