Hi my name is Tim Woods I am a Corporal in the United Sates Marine Corps currently deployd in support of Opperation Iraqi Freedom 08-02.
I am originally from a small town in Minnesota and moved to california in 2006 and i am stationed in miramar (just north of san diego) when im in the states i will be living in escondido with my fiance when i get back from this deployment. if anyone on here lives near there and would like to meet up when i get back let me know!!
I have been in love with Camaros since my first camaro (1988 rs) then when i got to my first duty station in 2007 I bought a 1989 Z-28 IROC-Z I loved that car like a son, but sadly i deployed and my best friends mom bought it from me for a thousand more than what i paid. I still miss that car so much. I am now working on getting my hands on a 2002 Z-28 with an LS-1 and a sx speed, less than20000 miles on it. my plan for it is to putsteering kits and traction kits along with a new cam and heads then a turbo anda NOS. that should be sufficiant to keep me busy for a little while lol.
well any questions concerns complaints let me know im always open for constructive criticism. it helps the learning process

Hey Devil Dog- I too just joined the forum and I live in San Diego. On top of that I am also a Marine, all be it out since 1994, but you know the drill, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine". Welcome to the forum and be safe over there. Shoot me an email on when your coming back and I will be sure we get together.

I usually don't reply to the new guys since I'm pretty new myself but felt I had to welcome another military member to the forum. I'm Navy and will be back in the 'desert' soon. Be safe...will be glad to hear when you're back in the states working on that Camaro!
