Default First time buyers dilemma

I have looked at so many Camaro it's insane. Trying to find the best combination for my budget is both fun and exhausting. So I wanted to get some insights on a few I've been looking at from a community who knows best. My budget is around 25000. I've found a 2012 2ss/rs for 21500 with only 47k miles. If I go for a newer model I won't be able to get a 1ss or a 2ss. Is the 2012 wOrth it or should I get a newer model.

If you want a V8 Camaro, get one. Don't settle for the 6. If you can't afford the new-style model, then that limits your options to the 2010 - 2015 models. $25k should get you a nice car. Figure out which options you really want and which ones you can live without. Do you really need a sunroof? Or leather? Or the RS option? Figure out what colors are your favorite. If you don't like yellow, then don't even look at yellow cars.
Then look for the lowest mileage example that fit within your criteria and budget. Auto Trader has a great search feature for this kind of thing.

You might, perish the thought, consider a newer Mustang. A very similar product with very similar options and performance.

Agree, if you want a V8, buy a V8 model, don't buy a V6 model and decide later in life to swap over - cost prohibitive - you could buy another V8 Camaro.
Determine what options you want, amount of money you have to buy, and make the decision then with the availability.

Thanks for the replies. I guess what I'm asking is the 2012 worth it. What would you do in my situation?

your buying at the beginning of the worst time of the year. go take one for a test drive and see if you think its worth it, doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. then figure out what you want and find the best deal for one in great shape and lowest miles.
