First Camaro 1968 SS

Man I love this car lol. Previously me and my dad built up a 1986 monte carlo SS. 383 stroker/9 inch rear, the works but I lost interest years ago when I found more rot under the t tops than I felt the car was worth. This car refueled my interests in muscle cars and although the car drives just fine I am already planning on pulling that stroker motor and putting it in this car which actually deserves it! The monte carlo experience taught me a lot about car rot and I was much more careful when choosing a car this time around. This car isn't mint but surely a head turner. I had more people starring/honking and engine revving in the short ride to my garage than I could have ever imagined! Let the addiction begin lol

It's a joke amongst First Generation owners.
Sixty-seven owners believe the best year as it is the first year and has wing windows.
Sixty-nine owners believe this is the best year as they say GM learned the mistakes they made from '67's & '68's and made the ultimate First Gen.
Sixty-eight owners believe this is the best year of all.
Better looking grille with the rectangular front turn signals, and they stay on when headlamps are turned on as they don't with a '67, '68's don't have the quarter panel grills as the ''69's do, as they look like cellulite folds along with the sagging skin over the rear wheels limiting tire clearance, less weight than a '69 because there are no headrests on the front seats.
But then, any First Gen is a pleasure to own and enjoy. Total combined ownership of Wife and myself are eight, three '67's and five '68's. We both like the '68's styling and looks.
Personal preference. Ask any '68 owner, er, First Gen owner.
I'm sure I've stirred the bean pot pretty good. Enjoy your Camaro.
Let me get the next round for you, Guys.

What you're stirring is creating a lot of stinky floaters. The voters have spoken about which one is best. lol
