Default is this a fair price?

Hi everone, i'm interested in buying an '02 z28 with a few slight mods such as intake programer and exhaust. It has leather seats z06 wheels and a xenon body kit. the tires are worn and the mileage is at over 80,000. The guy is asking 13-14, i was thinking of offering him 12-12.5 is that too low? thanks for the help,
kunz

p.s. its a 5.7l auto

I dont think so.. If i was buying, 10-12 would be an ok price to me.. obviously if i was selling i would want as much as i could get.. im just basing that off the z28 prices i see around here though..

www.kbb.com Like blade said above, check the value for yourself first. Then make an offer.

well if its from an individual seller i would go as low as possible. i would also have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy it because buying it from an individual you can get it for less but your stuck with the car and any problems it may have. where if you buy it from a dealership you may pay a little more but the dealership will stand behind it. So i would say youmay be able toget it for 10,000. Reallyif you flash money in an individual seller'sface they'll take it.
