Classic Car Studio custom 1969 Camaro
Hi,
I'm with Classic Car Studio in St. Louis, MO. We are about half way through two nearly identical custom Camaro builds, and I wanted to join the forum so people could watch our progress. We will have some photos to post next week.
We are using all new Dynacorn bodies with DSE coilover suspension all the way around with a 4 link rear set up. We have 6 piston Baer brakes on all four corners with 14 inch rotors. The cars will sit on Fikse Profil 5 wheels with Michelin Pilot sport tires that are 355 in the rear. To accomodate the large tires, we fabbed in a mini tub, and we have a half cage in the back, and subframe connectors for additional rigidity. We have custom built 598 stoker motors that have just dynoed at 770 HP and 770 lbs ft of torque, and rear ends set up to handle 1200 lbs feet of torque.
stay tuned!
